Jr. Highers Today they are called Middle Schoolers. When I was young, we were called Jr. Highers. Whatever you want to call them, I have four of them. Do I write anything to you now in this newsletter or do I just ask you to pray for Carol and me? A youth pastor recently told me that it is very rare that a family would have four kids in Jr. High at the same time. We think it’s going to be a blast!
I just returned from our last camp of the summer. One hundred and twenty Jr. Highers. Four of them were mine. I thought I would let you hear my kid’s thoughts about what God taught them at camp. “I don’t want to be a good teenager that people just
think, ‘Something’s different about Josh.’ I want my peers to know why I’m
different, because Jesus Christ is the most important person in my life.”
“I am now praying for the kids at my school. I want to
see them know Jesus.”

“I’ve been a Christian for a while now, but this summer
I really got it. Jesus gave it all for me on the cross.” At the beginning of the summer I prayed that God would speak to my kids in a special way. I am grateful that He did. Summer Tour was a great adventure. Thank you so much for praying for us!
Thanks for all your love and support! |
